Brewshop 101: Home Beer Brewing Essentials
Was a fun interactive time, got to learn a lot about brewing. The teacher was very knowledgeable about his craft and had a good sense of humor. We got to try the different types of ingredients that go into the beer.

While we did get to try the beers made by previous classes, the beers were smooth but the flavors were boring. Tasting what other beginner classes made with beginner recipes is just not that motivating or satisfying.

My suggestion would be that they give us a sample of their best beers. (ie. 5oz of 4 different beers)
That would have gotten me even more excited about the potential for brewing my own beer.

If they had done that, then I would have given them 5 stars.

Loved learning about the homebrew, and tasting a few. Definitely will be back with a few more in tow to make our own.

I felt this class was very informative and enjoyable! The owner/instructor John is very professional, outgoing, and super knowledgeable when it comes to all things beer. Not only did we get a first hand view on how to become home brewers, we also received an education on beer making, it's history, and the ingredients involved. They have everything here you need to get started - instruction, ingredients, equipment - along with a very supportive staff that are willing to help out with any questions. They want you to make good beer! Plus, there are so many different styles and tastes to choose from.

Another added bonus was that we received two pints to drink during the class of beers that were brewed by previous groups! They have everything you need here if interested in becoming a home brewmaster. I look forward to taking another class here and get started on my own brews. The guys who own and work here are super friendly, fun, and love beer. That in itself makes you want to come back.

I was given a gift certificate for a Home-brew 101 class. The class itself was very informative and I love the store itself. It's basically a place to go for home brew supplies, ingredients, information, and educational purposes. Everyone there is very helpful and loves to talk about beer! The only downside for me is the location.

Brewshop 101: Home Beer Brewing Essentials
Took Brewshop 101 with John whom is very knowledgeable. It was a bit overwhelming in the beginning of the class as there were a lot of different terms and steps...but staff was very helpful and kept the class interesting. We tried 2 different beers brewed by previous classes. Definitely worth a visit if you're interested in home-brewing!

Took a great intro beer brewing class with my fiance. The teachers are knowledgeable and lively. I feel like I learned so much about beer making and now have the confidence that I too can be a home brewer. I'm happy the store is close to me because I will definitely be buying all the equipment and materials i need from them. Smart, friendly and laid back - what else do you need with a beer brewing store!
