    Mt. Rainier Walk/Snowshoe Tour

    Up for some mountains of fun? Explore the majestic Mt. Rainier during this full day of interpretative nature walk! An active volcano and the Cascade Mountain’s tallest peak, Rainier is a Washington icon that draws thousands of visitors every year. During this outing, you'll take in its dramatic landscape alongside an experienced local guide, embarking on a safe yet eye-opening hike. Find yourself immersed in a landscape of still mountain lakes, river valleys, and even waterfalls. Learn about both new and old growth trees as you walk amongst them. And, check out the massive glaciers that still stretch across Mt. Rainier today! Each hike is led by an Escape Artist Guide skilled in naturalist interpretation. As you walk and learn about the environment, you'll also learn about its native wildlife, using binoculars to search for marmots, coyotes, elk, foxes, black bears, and birds from afar. Included in this experience is a short snowshoe (or foot) trip along the Nisqually Vista or similar trail chosen from the hundreds of miles of park trails available.     Mountains and Waterfalls Excursion

    From your hotel or B&B, you'll head North and then East on your private tour, past animal and agricultural farms and through old mining towns on your way up the Cascade Mountain foothills. Cross Stevens Pass and learn the history of the natives and the settlers as the railroad was brought west. You'll see the Skykomish River and 2 very different waterfalls, Bridal Veil and Deception on the way, and maybe see a Sasquatch at the Big Foot Coffee shop before you cross the pass at the Stevens Pass ski resort. Next, Tumwater canyon is beautiful as you continue along the Wenatchee river with many whitewater sections. You'll lunch in Leavenworth, a Bavarian wonderland of its own, with time to explore the riverwalk and the town. Then you'll continue over Blewett and Snoqualmie Passes, where you'll have your last stop at breathtaking Snoqualmie Falls, 268 feet tall. This is a beautiful tour.

    Mt Rainier Experience (with walking or snowshoeing)

Set between the jagged Olympic Mountains and the volcanic peaks of the Cascade Range, Mt Rainier — an active volcano encased in snow and ice — is the tallest peak of them all, standing 14,410 feet (4,392 meters) above sea level. On this breathtaking tour, admire close-up views of Mt Rainier’s snow capped peak, one of Seattle’s most iconic sights, on this full-day nature tour. See glaciers, waterfalls and wildlife in Mt Rainier National Park and get a vivid sense of the mountain’s beauty with your naturalist guide. Depending on the season, your guide will lead your group on either a short walk (mid-May to September) or a snowshoe trek (October to mid-May) along the Nisqually Vista Trail, or possibly something a little more challenging if your group is up for it. Binoculars are provided to help you spot birds and wildlife like marmots, elk, deer, fox and maybe even the coyotes and black bears that roam the mountainside.
