Anybody who’s ever gotten a cut knows that the knife can be an intimidating implement to work with. That said, it also ranks as one of a serious chef’s most important tools. This class is designed to help you build confidence in your knife skills by mastering safe, effective practices for slicing and dicing.
You’ll use actual foods to accomplish this, as you work techniques on both veggies and meats. You also learn how to select the right knife for each job. Of course, all those “pointers” will probably work up quite an appetite. So, in the process of learning, you’ll also prepare a delicious meal!
On the menu: Matchstick Vegetable Salad; Hash Browns with Caramelized Onions; Flank Steak with Chimichurri Sauce; and Grilled Fruit Skewers.
