Care to tango? Get it right with this skills workshop!
Under the guidance of an expert dance instructor, you’ll work on low-impact, high-energy, skill-building drills that will not only teach you the technical deets of the tango, but help you to internalize them so you can concentrate on the dance’s best part: having fun!
You’ll practice solo exercises with a focus on extensions, weight transfers, and pivots. Your instructors will help you make the body posture adjustments necessary to evoke a natural rhythm in your dance that is fluid and easy for a dance partner to accompany.
In addition to learning essential tango skills in a fun, supportive environment, you’ll get a great aerobic workout that will leave you feeling fit, happy and self-assured.
It may take two to tango, but after this class, all eyes will be on you!
