Juneau what the best park around is? Alask-ya again ... well, do ya? It's Channel Islands Marine Park of course!

This trip combines a boat transport to an uninhabited island, sea kayaking, and wildlife viewing for the ultimate eco-adventure! You will be picked up near your cruise ship or hotel and taken to the six passenger vessel. From there you will head out of the harbor into the waters of the Inside Passage to one of the Channel Islands, where you will trade in the boat for some kayaks.

The next two hours will be spent paddling along the forested shore-line, searching for whales and other wildlife and enjoying the scenery. While on the water you may see humpback whales, harbor seals, steller sea lions, dall's porpoise, harbor porpoise, orca, numerous bird species (including bald eagles), and deer or river otters along the shore. Throughout this trip your expert guides and boat captain will share their local knowledge of the area, plus interesting information about the wildlife and their behavior.

Note: There is a 2-person booking minimum with a maximum of 6 people. Kayaks can accommodate a maximum torso (waist-chest) diameter of 55 inches (132cm). Maximum weight limits including gear are 300lbs (136kg) for single kayaks and 600lbs (272kg) for double kayaks. People taller than 6'2" (188cm) have a hard time operating the rudder because the pedals only adjust to a certain maximum distance. Please provide your hotel information for pick up in the "Special Requests" field upon checking out.
