Woof! Woof! There's nothing quite like "ruffing" it in Alaska, as you'll find out during this informative dogsled experience!
You'll begin your day with a tour of downtown Skagway and a nine-mile ride along the coastline to Musher's Camp. Arriving at the camp, you'll board a specialized unimog for a ride up a rugged mountain road, where you'll greet your musher and the team of Alaskan Huskies that will be pulling you on the next leg of your journey.
That next leg involves a mile-long, zigzagging ride through the Tongass National Rainforest that is sure to be the highlight of your day. You'll enjoy being pulled by the huskies aboard a custom-built wheeled sled designed for summer training.
Then, it's back on the unimog for a return to the kennels, where you'll learn about the work that goes into training and caring for the dog. You'll even have time to play with the puppies, which is an important part of socialization and getting them ready for their racing careers!
It should be a doggone good time!
