    Denali Highway Jeep Excursion

    If you're taking an excursion in Alaska, there are a few things you should probably know about. #1. Polar Bears -- don't hit them (they're hard to see in the snow). #2. You simply MUST ride the Denali Highway. After all, it was named a "Drive of a Lifetime," by National Geographic Traveler Magazine... AND if there was a #3, it would be "Take your camera," but that's a moot point, in the smartphone age. That said, this route is a photographer's paradise. Along the way you'll enjoy views of snow-capped mountains, icy glaciers, and panoramic vistas flanking the Denali Highway. Not to mention all of the wildlife you might come across if you keep your eyes sharp... As driving the Denali Highway is prohibited by most rental vehicle companies, this exclusive excursion provides access to more of Alaska's spectacular scenery and wildlife, and is a great alternative to crowded bus trips. Each Jeep has 4 doors -- perfect for a quick fire drill, even more useful for swapping drivers, and a CB radio for communicating with the guide so stops can be made along the way.     Chilkoot Horseback Riding

    When it comes to exploring Alaska's incredible natural bounties, four legs are better than two! You'll find that out for yourself while prancing through the Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park. Saddle up for some fun! You'll begin your day with a quick driving tour of Skagway, followed by a scenic coastline ride to Alaska Excursions' Dyea ranch. There, after a brief safety presentation, you'll mount up beside an experienced handler and set off for nearly two hours of riding through the park. As you ride, you'll enjoy stories of the area's past, including tales of the Klondike Gold Rush. You'll see plenty of signs of those hectic times as well, such as the ruins of a former gold rush town and the Slide Cemetery. You'll also enjoy sweeping scenery featuring pristine mountain backdrops, sprawling forest, and Alaskan wildflowers. Riding out onto the Dyea flats, you'll spend some time taking in an overlook view of the Lynn Canal. This is a great chance to spot a range of native wildlife, including bald eagles!     Glacier Point Wilderness Safari

You'll begin your adventure with a 60-minute ride across the icy waters of North America's deepest fjord. There, you'll enjoy unobstructed views of the area's wildlife complete with a stunning backdrop. Your boat is custom designed to provide an intimate viewing experience. You could spot both whales and seals at play, and will marvel at cascading waterfalls plummeting into the fjord's depths.
