    Aerial Angel's Silk Hammocks

    Got Silk? Pole Waxers is proud to announce one of its newest classes -- Aerial Silks. Aerial Silks is a modern circus performance art in which one or more artists perform aerial acrobatics while hanging from special silk fabric. In this class you will learn basic moves and techniques using a silk hammock. Hanging just a few feet off the ground, you will have the sensation of flying while strengthening your core. This is a wonderful beginner's class for ladies who have never tried anything like it before and want to break into the world of aerial dance!     Sling

    "What do you do?" "Oh, I'm a professional slinger." Wouldn't you love to have a response like that? Well, it has to start somewhere -- here's your intro class. Of course, you might have to explain what a "slinger" is, or else the line of questioning might go in the wrong direction -- but it's always fun to start out with a veil of mystery. Did someone say veil? Destination Sling will envelop you in just that: A silken veil, shaped like a sling, through which you will learn how to manipulate and pull off a lot of sweet moves that aren't entirely possible with anything short of... well, a sling. The sling is a versatile apparatus for you to explore creating beautiful shapes and sequences within the fabrics. For those with less upper body strength, the support of the sling allows you to distribute your weight throughout your body. For aspiring performers, you will soon realize the sling is king.
