Kilauea Hike 'n Glow (Hilo)

Up for some explosive fun? Hawaii Volcanoes National Park should provide just the right kind of fireworks!

Kick off your visit with a stop into the Kilauea Visitor's Center, a picnic lunch, and a visit to the Jaggar Museum. Fueled and focused, head out alongside your guide. Walk through the Thurston Lava Tube, and then hike into the Kilauea Iki crater, across steaming ground, and through tangled rainforest.

After four miles of hiking, you'll return to sophisticated society with a stop at Volcano Winery. Enjoy a private tour of the vineyard and tea orchard, and an included dinner -- wine will be served!

Close out the day with a return to the park, where you'll have the opportunity to check out current volcanic activity in the light of the setting sun.

Note: Closed-toe shoes are required. All guests (including children) should be able to negotiate a strenuous 4-mile hike, unassisted, which includes a high number of steep uphill and downhill sections. Guests with small children are responsible for providing their own child carriers to safely navigate the entire hike.
