There’s no better way to wind down from a long day at work or a particularly bad date than to plop down on your couch with your favorite TV show and a good drink in hand. But sometimes the same old gin and tonic can be a little boring. Mix it up and try creating a drink to pay homage to your favorite show, whether it’s Keeping up with the Kardashians or Breaking Bad! Here are a few to get you started:

Nobody’s judging you if a little reality television is your cup of tea. While you laugh along with Keeping up with the Kardashians, follow Kris Jenner’s lead and try out some vodka based drinks. Though you can always mix up a screwdriver or a vodka cranberry, take a shot at this watermelon fizz sorbet. Spiked sorbet? Yes, please.

If you love Game of Thrones as much as the Vimbly team does, then round up your small council and cheers! We’ve discovered what they call Seven Kingdoms, and we’re sure it would even have the Lannisters enchanted. As a gin-based drink, it’s perfect to sip on while you re-watch season 2 as Daenerys painfully leaves Drogo and Rhaego while in the House of the Undying. Bottom’s up, that scene’s a tough one. Or, if you’re getting ready for season 3, then be sure to watch for [REDACTED].  Okay fine, we wouldn’t surprise-spoil, don’t worry 🙂

Get creepy with this Bloody Horror drink and American Horror Story. It’s low calorie count lets you can drink up for an episode (or a marathon) of this scary, asylum-set show — though you may need a few to sit through more than one episode! With sadistic doctors and the criminally insane, we’re not surprised this themed drink looks suspiciously creepy.

Maybe you like to relax with a little Downton Abbey. Nothing prepares you more for waiting to see what drama the Crawleys will bring with them and the grand wit of Lady Grantham than a nice cocktail. Choose your favorite sister (or all three!) and mix a drink in their honor: Mary, Edith, Sybil. If you can’t decide, you can always make a toast to the late Lady Sybil and remember a time when things were relatively happy at the Downton estate.

Or if Sons of Anarchy is your show, grab a bottle of whiskey and get creative. If you want to keep it classic, try a Rob Roy. Otherwise, check out this list of whiskey-based drinks. We’d particularly like to try The Devil’s Backbone or the Kentucky Corpse Reviver. Especially with the whirlwind of drama that’s come up in this recent season, you’ll need a strong drink. We won’t say anything more.
