    Trying to spice up your culinary repertoire? Bring the aromas and savory tastes of India to your home kitchen with a private lesson! You and one other will have the instructor all to yourselves during this hands-on workshop, and enjoy the benefits of a relaxed, supportive environment to build skill and confidence. Better yet, what those dishes are is largely up to you! Prior to the class, you’ll select four different items from the Sandhya’s Kitchen menu, which offers an extensive selection of traditional Indian dishes, including both appetizers and main course dishes. Grilled Tandoori Tofu, Samosas, Saag Paneer, Tikka Masala, Naan Bread, and Moong Dal Crepes are just a few examples that you can select from.     Tips and Mixology

    This day long intensive class will familiarize you with every aspect of bartending! The first session is devoted to TIPS (Training in Intervention Procedures by Servers of alcohol), a nationwide certification program that teaches the responsible serving of alcohol. You will learn about the legal issues of bartending like checking IDs, the physiological and psychological effects of consuming alcohol, and the best ways to keep guests under control through acting out various difficult situations. At the end of this session, you'll take the TIPS certification exam and receive your certification card in the mail. Then, you'll take a lunch back before returning for the second, exciting part of this class. The second session will focus on learning and understanding the essential skills behind making any type of alcoholic drink, even frozen drinks, cocktails, daiquiris, and layered shots!
