Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial art that takes fighting to the ground -- a place where any practitioner of the form strives to be his or her best. This class will teach you the beginner fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, such as grappling and clinching. From this, you will learn how to leverage yourself to a point of combat advantage. You will be taught in a way that focuses on preventing injury, along with equipping yourself with a variety of self-defense techniques. You'll become knowledgeable of close range-combat and learn the mental techniques to increase your awareness during any fighting situation. Come learn what it takes to feel like a master!
Note: This is a free-trial class for first time students only. You must be 16 years of age or over to attend this class.
