Pizza and Little Italy Tour July 27, 2017This was my first time in Boston and I would highly recommend the Boston Pizza Tours to anyone and everyone. My tour guide was very knowledgeable and professional. The pizza was the best pizza I have ever had. You not only get to learn some great history of Boston, but also eat fantastic pizza without waiting in any lineups. This was the highlight of my trip to Boston!

Pizza and Little Italy Tour July 26, 2017We had a great walk through the North End, including lots of the sights and insights. The pizza was 2/3 phenomenal--but the last spot seemed to be on the list because the guide knows the proprietors and gets free drinks--the pizza was unremarkable. Was superpleasant way to walk around and hit all the high notes.

Pizza and Little Italy Tour July 25, 2017We met our guide along with 7 others on an extremely rainy July afternoon. I wasn't looking forward to walking in the rain but our guide ensured most of the sites we saw were indoors. The highlight of our tour was pizza eating at three iconic Italian eateries. My family agree that despite the weather the food and tour were excellent.

Pizza and Little Italy Tour July 19, 2017My 19 year old daughter and I just went on the Boston Pizza Tour with Sean our tour guide. We went to three pizza places as well as Old North Church. Sean was very knowledgeable about local history. I would recommend this but you will not be stuffed with pizza. The first place we all had one slice, the second one had extra slices and third one had plain and pepperoni. Worth doing tour was two hours.

Pizza and Little Italy Tour July 18, 2017The North End Pizza tour was a lot of fun with quite a bit of history thrown in while we walked around the historic North End. Our tour guide, Sean, was very knowledgeable and knows all the best places to eat pizza. We only had 4 people on our tour and since we had Regina's the night before, we chose to skip that usual stop. Our pizza stops were Ernesto's, Rina, and Modern Underground. All of the places had different styles of cheese pizza, but all were very good. Between slices we got a good education on Boston history, particularly that which took place in the North End and close by. Sean knows a lot of the history of Boston.
If you love pizza like I do and want to try pies from different good places while getting a little exercise, I would strongly suggest this tour. -

Pizza and Little Italy Tour July 14, 2017My husband and I took our teenage granddaughter to Boston for a birthday celebration. We wanted her to get a history lesson, but knew that she wouldn't be too excited just walking the Freedom Trail. This was the perfect tour. There were two other families on the tour with us, both with teenagers. The north end of Boston is so much fun - lots of family run Italian restaurants with great tasting pizza. We visited several stops along the Freedom Trail including the Old North Church. Our guide Sean was excellent and knowledgeable. We all had a great experience.

Pizza and Historic Tavern Tour July 12, 2017Fun day for all! Martin was a terrific guide. Pizza was great! Will definitely get another group together to do this tour. Boston is such an interesting city and we all enjoyed learning more of our country's history.

Pizza and Historic Tavern Tour July 12, 2017This was our first time going to Boston, so we decided to take this tour on the first day of our trip and that was the best idea! The food was great, the guide was great, the information was very interesting to learn about as we walked through the North End! We had a BLAST on this tour! It has been almost a week and I am still thinking about the pizza we ate and wishing I could get more! If you are thinking about taking this tour, do it! It is definitely worth it!! I am so sad we did not have any cash on us to tip our guide, he definitely deserved it!!!!

Pizza and Historic Tavern Tour July 4, 2017My husband and I took the pizza and brew tour, and our guide Sean, was wonderful. We got to experience each tavern and not be rushed to finish our drinks and move on. Then, is there a better way to end the night than with amazing pizza, we didn't think so. Great tour and highly recommend it if you enjoy taverns and pizza...even just a little bit.

Pizza and Historic Tavern Tour June 27, 2017Sean Ingle was great. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and polite. Introduced us to some of the best pizza around. He also educated us on some American history while personalizing the tour. Definite must do. My three kids enjoyed it as well. The tour was great! Educational! Delicious!!!

Pizza and Little Italy Tour January 8, 2017We walked about the historic North End, absorbed the stories and myths, and experienced the legendary pizza tastes only locals know about first-hand. Great experience!

Pizza and Historic Tavern Tour May 19, 2016Being the only couple to sign up for a Monday, we took a private walking tour with Martin a couple of weeks ago and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Martin was very knowledgeable about the North End area and was personable and engaging throughout the entire tour (around 2.5 hrs). He shared information about the history of the area, certain buildings and significant events that took place, and gave us plenty of food recommendations as well. On top of that, we visited 3 pizzerias and got to sample slices (and beer) from each one! I would absolutely sign up for one of his other tours!

Pizza and Historic Tavern Tour November 22, 2013Very much enjoyed the Boston Pizza and Tavern tour. Our tour guide was excellent!! He was full of knowledge and history as I believe history was his major. He was a perfect fit for this job. It was a beautiful afternoon and i loved walking thru the North End over the bridge to Charlestown. After visiting a local Tavern we headed over to the USS Constitution and then a ferry ride back. Another stop for Pizza and one more tavern stop completed this tour. It was fantastic and we ended our night with a stop at Mike's Pastry!!

Pizza and Little Italy Tour October 22, 2013This is a great tour of the North End. You make three stops along the way and at each stop a slice of pizza awaits. A great way to have lunch. Pizzeria Regina is the best of the three. The others are pretty good too. The tour guide is extremely friendly and informative. Limited to 12 people, the crew stays manageable. We saw Old North Church and the Paul Revere House but also the old grave yard and places like Rose Kennedy's birthplace. A great way to get the lay of the land in the Little Italy section and some local insight on whose cannoli they buy (Modern versus Mike's). Tour is about 2 hours total and I took it two days after dropping a 16 pound bowling ball on my toe, so it is manageable.

Pizza and Little Italy Tour October 14, 2013This was so much fun - we are locals, but have never really walked through the back streets of the North End. Our tour guide, Pat, was super. We saw some less known historical sites (like Rose Kennedy's birthplace); things I would have just walked by if not pointed out to me. The pizza was spaced out perfectly and the restaurant choices were good - with a variety of pizza styles. What a great location too -right next to the Greenway and Quincy Market. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a real taste of Boston's Little Italy!

Pizza and Historic Tavern Tour October 2, 2013The university I work at did this tour as a group of about 25 people. The weather was perfect which really helps on a tour such as this. Our tour guide, Pat, was a historian and he was very knowledgeable and friendly and I learned many things that I had never known about in the history of Charlestown and the North End. It is a lot of walking, but well worth it. We stopped at two different taverns and had 3 different kinds of pizza along the way. We walked from the North End across to the area of TD Garden and over the bridge into Charlestown. The walk brought us to the area of the USS Constitution. There was also a ferry ride which lasted about 20 minutes which brought us back to the area close to where the tour began and we went to another tavern before the tour ended. The tour is well-organized with no glitches. It began at 4:30 and lasted about 3 1/2 hrs. I highly recommend it. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes or sneakers and a jacket as it gets cool on the ferry ride.

Pizza and Historic Tavern Tour August 19, 2013My husband and I were visiting from NY and had originally booked the Historic Tavern and Pizza tour. Unfortunatlly, we hit so much traffic getting into the city that we missed out tour. The service I received on the phone was lovely and we were easily accommodated to switch to another available tour. We really enjoyed every aspect of our tour given by Pat. We learned a great deal of Boston history and had some tasy pizza that even a New York pizza snob could enjoy. I highly reccomend this tour to make your Boston trip a memorable experiance.

Pizza and Historic Tavern Tour July 24, 2013My boyfriend and I have both been living in Boston for a while now but had a great time. We went on the pizza and tavern tour which visited 2 North End pizza joints, 1 charlestown tavern and 1 Boston tavern. It was a good mix of sightseeing, food, beer and history. Our tour guide Scott was knowledgeable and chill. We will recommend to Boston based friends and visitors alike!

Pizza and Historic Tavern Tour July 9, 2013My friends and I decided to take the Pizza and Tavern Tour with Pat on a Friday afternoon. He was very knowledgeable of the area and kept the tour moving at a good pace. We tried three pizzas which helped keep the tour interesting and fun. Pat was very friendly and was able to give recommendations after the tour. It was a great way to spend a sunny day!

Pizza and Little Italy Tour May 19, 2013We started off our day meeting our tour guide, Martin. I found him to be very personable, knowledgeable and excited about the tour he was about to take us on. We took the 'Pizza & Little Italy Tour'. This walking tour took us through the North End where we sampled pizza from three very good establishments. Each was piping hot and delicious. Martin timed the tour so that the pizza was ready and waiting for us at each stop. To my delight, the tour was so much more than I thought it would be. It was very informative, interesting and thorough. I learned things about the North End and vicinity that I never knew, and I was born and raised in Boston! This is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon and I highly recommend it!

Pizza and Historic Tavern Tour May 15, 2013What a fun thing to do in Boston! My husband and I are local (as in metro west, but not originally from here) and we did the Pizza & Historic Tavern tour as a "date night." It's a great, unique way to see the North End/Charlestown and learn something in the process. Martin is awesome; everything ran smoothly from picking up our first pie at Regina's to getting on the ferry in time before embarking. A few slices of great pizza, a couple of brews, some history lessons, and lots of socializing with the other "tourists." Good for locals and tourists alike!! Don't miss it!!

Pizza and Historic Tavern Tour May 7, 2013Even though we live in the city, we love doing walking tours and this one was so much fun. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable and patient and had lots of interesting anecdotes (gossip!) to share about the places we visited. Everything was great and our out-of-town guest really enjoyed it too. My favorite part was the boat ride back from Charlestown to Long Wharf at sunset, getting to see my city at it's finest.
