Experience the Boston Harbor on a fun, safe, and healthy adventure! You’ll start your rowing experience at the Boston Rowing Center with a “cheap and dirty” lesson on the basics: from rowing vocabulary, history, and safety to moving around in the boat. You’ll then head out on the water in a coxed boat where you’ll cast off and get familiar with the motions. Once you’ve practiced some drills and gotten the hang of the stroke and timing, you’re officially a rower! Enjoy your surroundings, and have fun!
Note: This is a free-trial for first, second, and third-time participants only. It is recommended that you bring sun protection, water, and gloves. You can bring these personal items on the boat with you.
