Brazilian Jiu Jitsu believes the best approach to fighting is to put your opponent into submission. Build the skills necessary to dominate your opponent with tactful application of techniques. There will be a focus on learning how a smaller fighter can dominate a much larger one by sticking to basic fundamentals. Grappling and bringing the fight to the ground will be a main component of this training. You'll learn takedowns, self-defense techniques, and striking, but the main focus will be maintaining position and putting your opponents right where you want them. You’ll finally get to show those bigger opponents who’s boss!
