Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art, combat sport, and a self-defense system that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. In this class, you will not only learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu moves and submissions, but you will also understand the history of this Mixed Martial Art, and what is required for its different ranks. After you warm up and practice its movements and strengthening exercises in an attempt to increase your physical conditioning, work on improving your positional training by trying some live grappling and rolling. Who knows, maybe eventually you’ll be entering competitions or even getting promoted through the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu belt ranking system. Black Belt, anyone?
