Regular martial arts not doing it for ya? Experience Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), a full contact combat sport that allows the use of both striking and grappling techniques in standing and ground fighting. Uncover elements from a multitude of martial arts, including boxing, wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, kickboxing, karate, and judo. Positional drills you will undergo in this class will cover all aspects of MMA, from cage takedowns to ground and pound to blending striking and takedowns. Be warned: little time will be dedicated to learning new techniques, and more time will be spent tweaking existing techniques so that they are effective for MMA; that is, mixing the martial arts techniques you already know. To round out your muscle-pumping power session, this class will end with an intense cardio drill to round out your full body workout. Your experience with real-life fighting techniques begins now.

Note: This is a free trial class for first time students only. It is recommended you have basic knowledge of striking and grappling before taking this class. Live sparring is reserved for experienced students only.
