We were four woman looking for something different to try when my daughter suggested the Taste of Gloucester Tour. Following Patrick and his famous "fork" around town was a sheer delight. Not only was he entertaining and informative but beyond knowledgeable whenever questions were thrown in his direction about all aspects of the area. When speaking of this experience whether to my grandchildren or co-workers I realize that this is an experience everyone can benefit from to get a true "taste" of Gloucester.

My family and I were looking for something different to do one weekend over the summer-I looked up "Things to do in Gloucester" and came across this food tour. I am SO glad I did. The reviews were great and they did not disappoint! My husband and 2 daughters (ages 9 and 11) had the BEST time eating our way through Gloucester and learning about its history. Then we went to the beach for a late afternoon swim. My kids are still talking about it...we cannot wait to do another one...we are thinking about the Sights and Sweets tour in Rockport next!

This tour offered a nice variety of tastes and textures and, even though we have been to Gloucester many times over the years, we were introduced to several new "townie-type" eateries. We felt welcome at each of our destinations and the "tastes" were quite generous; enough to combine into a very substantial lunch indeed.
Cindy (our tour guide) is a peach. We enjoyed her hospitality and learned a few historical facts along the way as well. All in all, a very good value for our money. We look forward to tryng out the Newburyport tour next year.

Our department goes out once a year for a day of team building. This year we visited Gloucester and went on P.J's food tour. We all had a great time and this was a fun way to explore a city. This is a relatively new business and I believe that P.J has the passion and personality to make it work.

Did the 'Taste of Gloucester' tour last Sunday and had a fantastic time. Our tour guide did a great job explaining the history and relevance of Gloucester, and the food we tried was top notch. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if the weather is going to be nice.

My sister and I went on the Taste of Gloucester tour with Patrick and had a blast! The food was outstanding, as well as the historical aspect of the tour. Patrick is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his city. It was very much worth the money and time spent. We were full when the tour was over and ended up going back later to revisit some of the places we discovered while on the tour. Thanks for a fantastic time Patrick!

This tour truly has something for everyone whether you're a foodie, a history buff, or just like to check out the scenery. Patrick is a fantastic guide with a great personality and he brings Gloucester to life with his stories and the stops along the tour. The food was delicious, the landmarks we visited had some great stories and historical facts. I really hope Patrick can expand his business to surrounding areas, wherever he starts a tour, I'll be sure to follow.

On a recent whirlwind trip through Cape Ann, we decided to take the Taste of Gloucester Tour based on the many rave reviews it had received. Our experience confirmed what many had posted that the Tour was a great introduction to Gloucester past, present, and future. We were delighted with the scrumptious and tasty samplings at all of the chosen locations with the bacon wrapped scallop and clam chowder at the Topside Grill being one of our favourites. The tastes were only surpassed by the insight provided by our knowledgeable and personable host, Patrick. By the end of the Tour we felt that we had known Patrick and Gloucester for several years. We would definitely recommend The Taste of Gloucester Tour and will be looking forward to returning to the Boston area and joining in any of Patrick’s new tour ventures.
