See famous historic sites like The Boston Commons, the hanging tree, and the Massachusetts State House while hearing the heroic stories of the likes of Anne Hutchinson, Mary Dyer, reformer Dorothea Dix, and Mercy Otis Warren. Pay respects at the Granary Burial Ground, home to the grave of Mother Goose, and King’s Chapel Burial Ground, the resting place of the first Pilgrim in America, the greatest “she-merchant” of Boston, and the model for Nathaniel Hawthorne’s Hester Prynn from The Scarlet Letter.

And at The Old South Meetinghouse, experience the spiritual home of Boston’s first African American poet Phyllis Wheatley. End your tour at Faneuil Hall public meeting room where one of the most famous female rights activists, Susan B. Anthony, delivered her speeches. Begin to appreciate the important impact the women of Boston had on the founding of the nation -- it ain’t just a man’s world anymore.
