Fresh ingredients in hand, you grab the knife and prepare to slice. It’s your finger, ouch! Whether you’re struggling to not cut your finger or you can’t differentiate between chop and mince, your stress will end. Just cut it out! Join Helen's Kitchen Cooking School and learn to slice, dice, and mince in a casual, supportive environment. Class begins with a discussion about which knives are used for which cuts, how to shop for a decent knife in any price range, and proper sharpening and caring for your knives. To practice, you’ll prepare a scrumptuous vegetarian dinner that may include fennel orange salad, potato leek soup, and possibly even a classic ratatouille. Cut out and change your knife habits. Your meals, and fingers, will thank you.
