Tai Chi emphasizes energy and trains the body to react to attacks in swift and fluid motions. Instead of forceful and aggressive resistance, Tai Chi focuses on flexibility, balance, and internal strength. You'll practice the short form of Tai Chi (24 movements) and break down movements of the form, such as "White Crane Spreads its Wings." Enjoy a low-impact workout that teaches you fundamental principles of self-defense, relieves stress, and works out the entire body! Allow this self-defense lesson to be a driving force in helping you remain poised -- both mentally and physically.
