Want to learn about self-defense and get a great workout at the same time? Try Krav Maga, a hybrid fighting/self-defense fighting system used by the Israeli Defense Forces. This trial class is a great place to start. You will learn the basics of this fighting system, which include stance movements, punches, heel strikes, a number of different kicks, releases, and chokeholds. This class will lay a strong groundwork for more intermediate training that delves further into these styles and fighting philosophies. Krav Maga draws influence from a variety of other martial arts, so it will also be a great opportunity to practice a type of training that can transfer easily to another discipline. By the end of this class, you’ll be begging to take more. And your opponents? They’ll be begging for mercy.
