Have you never trained in a martial art, but are looking to do something more fun than going to the gym? This class is designed to allow you to come in at any age, any physical fitness level with zero background in martial arts, and enjoy learning BJJ. You will wear a “Gi” or “Kimono,” which is a traditional heavy cotton martial arts uniform held closed by a belt, and be taught the kicks, blocks, and striking capabilities of this combat sport. Get ready to immerse yourself in the BJJ lifestyle because this class focuses on takedowns, ground control techniques, and submission holds. Expect to learn in a fun and safe environment while slowly getting in better shape. You’ll feel that you are being pushed, but not so hard that you are not enjoying and learning the whole time!
