If pole dancing brings images of sensual movements and being the center of attention to mind, you may be right. You may not realize though, that this is a challenging sport similar to aerial gymnastics. After warming up with matwork, you’ll take to the pole to practice climbing, inversions and drills to improve your technical skills. This class is more about strength and technique than spins and dance moves. Take on awe-inspiring poses and inverts in a friendly, fun atmosphere where all levels of experience are welcome, especially beginners. Tone your body and improve your general strength while learning techniques that will allow you to fly higher on the pole.
Note: Please bring your own yoga mat as they will not be provided.
