During this interactive small group class, you will learn the fundamentals of the meditative art of pointed pen calligraphy from Liz Roessler of Lettering By Liz, a calligrapher with over 30 years of professional experience. The easy-to-understand instruction is focused on everything you need to get started & enjoy calligraphy: how to properly hold & use a dip pen with acrylic ink, setting up your workspace, healthy ergonomics, patient & personal instruction & focused, specific goals for your practice & project work following class. 5 unique lettering styles are demonstrated & included in the take-home materials: 3 script/cursive styles & 2 print/block styles We will review all the best pro tips & tools & unique ways to use your new calligraphy skills, inspiring demonstrations, customized take-aways and Q&A throughout.
