The difference between Gi and No Gi Jiu-Jitsu involves much more than a simple change of clothing. While it’s true that the traditional one-piece uniform known as the Gi is traded for a t-shirt or rash guard and pants or shorts, the rules and approach to fighting also change with No Gi. Develop a stronger understanding of the contrast between these two forms of Jiu-Jitsu while also learning the hybrid grappling style of Catch Wrestling. Created in Britain during the 1800s, this form of grappling incorporates Judo and Mixed Martial Arts as well as the use of hooks rather than submissions. Your professional instructor will bring you through fundamental moves as you build strength and stamina through your practice.
Note: This is a free trial class for first time students only.
