    If you are serious about training in Jiu-Jitsu, the instructors at the Renzo Gracie academy are serious about training you! This martial art is unique in that it focuses on wrestling and submission, most of which is done on the ground. This 30 minute introductory class will introduce you to the basics behind Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu theory. This class serves as a preparatory class to those interested in seriously enrolling at the academy and training at least twice a week in the beginner program. If you like the intro class, be ready to stay for the beginner class that meets afterwards from 7 to 8 on weekdays. Learn to take down opponents while sharpening your physical and mental strength. But be warned, you better be ready to get to work! Academy founder Renzo Gracie is a world-renowned practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA. He is a senior member of the famous Gracie family of Jiu-Jitsu teachers and fighters who did so much to shape the current state of martial arts instruction in America.
