You will start from the very beginning with a trained instructor to begin learning the fundamentals of this intense martial arts form.     Jiu Jitsu - Trial Class

    The first part of class focuses on learning and applying fundamental techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. You will practice various techniques using a traditional Gi, also known as a kimono. Learn and practice submissions, escapes, positioning and self-defense maneuvers. The second part puts your training to the test with live sparring matches, where you can put your moves together to see whether you have what it takes to control an opponent. As you train, you will build strength, physical endurance, and the ability to react quickly and successfully in real life defense situations.

    Gi or no-Gi? True Fight Club is firmly in the Gi camp. In their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class, you’ll robe up, warm up, and then get into the good stuff. You’ll pair up with a partner and practice the technique of the day, then move into sparring, or “rolling”, in which you and your opponent compete to obtain dominant positions.
