Lakefront/Museum Campus Segway Tour (2hr) October 16, 2020Tammy was the best part. If I had a complaint it would be that there didn’t seem like a lot of opportunities to do some of the other tours. In other words the Lakefront tour was awesome but I’d have rather have had an option to do more heart of the downtown type tour which wasn’t available at all on my day.
I didn’t deduct any stars cause I figure some of the availability is due to COVID and tourism crowd size. Hopefully next time. -

Lakefront/Museum Campus Segway Tour (2.5 hr) September 10, 2013My husband treated me to the 2 1/2 hr, lake front museum campus tour, for my birthday and it turned out to be one of most enjoyable presents I've had! I'd really recommend it as a fun way to see parts of the city you might not walk to, if only in Chicago for a limited time like us.
All the people we met at 'Absolutely' were very friendly. The 'training' session part was comprehensive and I felt we were given a sensible amount of time to get used to riding our segways before we hit the open road. We've been on them before but appreciated the time to get used to the machines again, and for first timers, it meant they could get the hang of it, in safety away from traffic and people and be confident before going on the main tour. Segways are very easy to ride if you follow the instructions. They are also a tremendous amount of fun!
Dustin our guide was amusing, informative and a very cheerful chap!
We covered about 8 1/2 miles in total, mostly on park pathways, only a few main roads to cross and saw a lot of interesting monuments and buildings en route. The views we got back over the city were wonderful.
If we are lucky enough to go back to Chicago I'd definitely do another tour. -

Lakefront/Museum Campus Segway Tour (2hr) September 8, 2013"Lakefront/Museum Campus Tour" Our tour guide "Dan" was very knowledgeable every step of the way, learned more than expected with a touch of humor to boot. I would highly recommend this tour when visiting Chicago. When next in the city I will definitely schedule the "Art and Architecture Tour"
Fun way to celebrate my 60th birthday, never to old to segway -

Lakefront/Museum Campus Segway Tour (2hr) September 5, 2013This was an awesome way to tour Chicago! We did the Museum Park trip and it was beautiful! Our tour guide Clancy was fantastic! He made the tour a lot of fun! It's a great thing to do with the family and the segways are so fun to ride. I definitely recommend going through this group. It was easy to find and very informative about the city.

Haunted Chicago Segway Tour September 4, 2013We went on the night time haunted tour of Chicago, leaving the premises at 8.30 at night. After a short safety film and a mini practice session (which I needed as a first timer!) we set off to hear tales of ghoulies & ghosties throughout downtown Chicago. Our tour guide Dan was not only very knowledgeable but also an absolute hoot! I think this was made all the more enjoyable because, in the middle of a heat wave, the night time tour gave you some respite from the blazing sun. This is definitely my favourite Chicago experience and we are absolutely going to have another go now we're back in the UK.

Evening Fireworks Segway Tour September 1, 2013Our guide, Hochi (I hope I spelled it right), was a lot of fun and took the extra time I needed to get a hang of the Segway. The whole staff is energetic and Hochi knew a lot of interesting trivia about the city. We did the fireworks tour and it was awesome! Thanks!

Lakefront/Museum Campus Segway Tour (2.5 hr) August 27, 2013We went on the Lakefront/Museum Campus tour which goes all through Grant Park all along the lakeshore. It was a beautiful route and a wonderful way to experience the park. Our tour guide was Sam and she was very friendly and led an excellent tour. I was impressed by how extremely knowledgable she was about the attractions along the tour, especially since she is not a native of Chicago. I felt that I was sufficiently trained on the use of a Segway before starting out and found them a very efficient and fun way to get around! I would definitely go on another Absolutely Segway tour, would definitely tour Grant park again, and would ask specifically for Sam as my guide. As an added bonus, Sam, a grad student in opera, sang TWO opera songs for us during the halfway point in the tour. Belted out the songs infront of the Shedd Aquarium while tons of pedestrians milled about. The whole tour was a major highlight of my trip to Chicago!

Evening Fireworks Segway Tour August 24, 2013Jocy (aka the dude with the awesome 'fro!) Was a great guide! We went at night and saw the fireworks. So beautiful! Not as hard to ride as I thought it would be. Very intuitive! Jocy was very laid back and knowledgeable of the sights.

Evening Fireworks Segway Tour July 18, 2013We just had the night fireworks tour in chicago. My mom was scared of the segway, but they helped her through the whole process of learning- she was awfully happy. They are really helpful, and attentive. They took us to some bEautiful places and the tour was given to us by jochi; he gave it in spanish, which was perfect for us.. He was really friendly and kind. They even let our spanish speaking group of 7 go alone Plus, driving a segway is a really fun way to see Chicago

Art and Architecture Segway Tour July 13, 2013We learned a great deal as we were gliding through the North End and along the North shoreline. It was beautiful and Alex-our guide and instructor- was both fun and well informed. I was amazed at how easy the Segway was to learn-We were comfortable within minutes and had a blast as we ticked off another to-do item on our bucket list. I'm going to add another Segway tour to the list just because it was so fun! We saw so many parts of the city that we had never seen before and learned a lot about the architecture and history of Chicago. This is a great way to see beautiful homes and the lakeshore--you could never see it any other way unless you walked! Thanks Alex for a great ride!! You were amazing!

Lakefront/Museum Campus Segway Tour (2hr) July 11, 2013We had a great trip wth the museum campus tour for our group, which included twin 12 year olds. We learned lots of cool history about the area and found riding the Segways amazing. Taste of Chicago is going on and it was surprisingly easy to maneuver through the crowds. The only negative was that we couldn't take the Segways and Sam home with us to Indiana!!!

Lakefront/Museum Campus Segway Tour (2.5 hr) June 27, 2013What a fun diversion! - Chelsea was our guide and had our group of 8 up and running (rolling) in about 20 minutes. She knew the history of the area, the terrain and the machine. We really got to know the Lakefront area and we covered a lot of ground. I think Chelsea will be Chicago's next great mayor!

Art and Architecture Segway Tour June 11, 2013What a way to see the beautiful city of Chicago. I quickly overcame my anxiety about using a Segway thanks to the guidance and reassurance of the staff...particularly the young and energetic Irish-named staffer (Casey?) whose name I sadly forget. What a thrill. Once we were rolling, took in the sights of much of the shoreline, Astor Rd., parks and architecture of Chicago. What a wonderful way to cover a lot of ground and see sites that we otherwide would have missed. This was a great experience and now I want my own Segway!! Great fun, very informative and excellent service. Thanks to all for making such an enjoyable afternoon of touring.

Lakefront/Museum Campus Segway Tour (2hr) April 4, 2013Perfect spring day in Chicago spent on a segway! Dan, our guide, had very interesting stories about the buildings and structures downtown and in the museum campus. He obviously has great enthusiasm for what he does. I live in the south loop so I am pretty familiar with the area but the route through soldier field was new to me - the views were breathtaking! My sister who is visiting said this is the best part of her trip yet. I wish we prepared better and brought cash to show Dan our appreciation (locals --> bad tourists!). Highly recommended!

Lakefront/Museum Campus Segway Tour (2hr) January 14, 2013Looking to do something a little different that would teach a Chicago resident something new and make for a fun day with my boyfriend, I booked a tour last minute. The owner couldn't have been nicer, the person at the desk who handled the paperwork was very sweet and accomodating and our guide, Dustin, was fun, patient, entertaining and knowledgable. We were interested in hearing some of the points of interest that would have normally fallen outside the scope of the traditional museum campus tour (ie, History on gangsters, etc.) and Dustin was able to weave them into our tour as an added bonus.
Overall, we had a wonderful time on an unusually warm January day and were pleased with the service and entertainment value received with the whole experience. -

Haunted Chicago Segway Tour November 4, 2012Had a great evening on a haunted Segway tour with the lovely & spooky Kim as our guide. Underwent beginners training on the Segway before heating out in to the night. Those that were nervous at first were soon getting the hang of it. Just wish we had more time on our trip to have another go.

Haunted Chicago Segway Tour October 27, 2012We had a lot of fun in our segeway tour, and our super funny tour guide, Alex! We had the Halloween haunted tour in the evening and we heard a lot of ghost story. It was so cold and taking gloves was the best decision of our life! Don't hesitate doing a segeway tour in chicago and ask for Alex if you want to guarantee good time!!
