We joined the late tour at 8 pm Friday March 24th. A decent sized tour bus and not too crowded. I feel bad, I wish I remembered the name of our guide. A nice gentleman who knew his stuff without having to read from something and also personal style of storytelling that keeps you interested. Also along the way, he added comments about nearby sights that weren't haunted but still interesting to hear about. The weather was sort of a factor but I also know that can't be helped. It was cold and rainy, so the big windows on the bus would fog up and block the view of things. Sort of a bummer but the guide had a way telling the story to help appreciate the point without the visual. Having the stop at the Billy Goat Tavern is nice for taking in the sight but also if anyone needs a break for the bathroom, a drink, or a snack. So I hope they keep doing that. Overall a great experience. Would highly recommend it to others.

We took this tour on Saturday October 29th. 2016. We had a fantastic time. It's not so much a ghost tour as its more of a Chicago history tour where tragic events took place. All the sights are supposed to be haunted though.
You meet at the Congress Plaza hotel. This was almost a three hour tour. The bus which was wonderful and full of people is parked out front. We did a special 8pm tour. Our tour guide was Jon who was so informative and interesting. He was never boring and his knowledge is incredible.
The stops included the site of the Eastland disaster, Hull House, "Death Alley" and the old city cemetery at Lincoln Park. We got off the bus at all the stops and there was lots of narration about each place. We also drive by plenty of interesting sights as well.
We had a great time. I wish the tour could of lasted another three hours. I highly recommend this tour company to anyone.

The tour was a lot of fun and our guide was extremely knowledgeable. We even got a picture at the Hull House that we think we can see a face in! Well worth the money!

So we got off to a rough start. The bus was 45 minutes late, which is impressive when it's 10pm and us getting to the venue was no problem. Whatever, we had enough coffee that going home and going to bed wasn't going to happen.
The biggest problem was another group on the tour. They were quite drunk (very obviously passing bottles back and forth to one another) and VERY loud, to the point that our tour guide had asked them twice to keep it down before a fellow passenger told them to shut up. They finally got the hint and got off at the next stop, which made the tour 100% better.
It was an interesting tour with a lot of history. Would have been cool to go in some of the stops, but it was also well passed business hours. Our driver and tour guide were very nice and knowledgeable with plenty of anecdotal tales, which is really what we went for. If you get a tour that starts on time and isn't full of rowdy, disruptive jerks, you're in for a fun tour of town.

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect on this tour. I did go in open-minded. This is NOT a ghost hunting tour. It is more driving by various locations and learning the history behind those locations (The Congress Hotel, The St. Valentines Day Massacre, Lincoln Park Zoo, Hull House, The John Hancock Bldg, The Drake Hotel, The Chicago River/The Chicago Fire and a few more) that are said to be haunted in Chicago and possibly why they are haunted. The bus does stop at many of the locations so you can get out and look around, take pictures and listen more details. The tour guide was very knowledgable. I really didn't have any complaints. This was a date night for my husband and I. I love the City and would recommend this trip.

I brought a couple of my friends and all of us really enjoyed it! Besides the obvious education on the haunted parts that are really creepy and interesting, our tour guide gave a ton of the city's history, a lot of which I didn't even know! The guide was really knowledgeable and had this cool ghost hunting sensor that got the whole group pretty thrilled. It made the tour much more exciting and real, especially to my one friend that doesn't believe in ghosts. I highly recommend this tour because it's super inexpensive for a 2.5-3hr tour all over the city. I'm definitely going on another your with this company for Halloween!

This tour was a LOT of fun, VERY informative, and over all a great experience.
Our tour guide was great. Really knew his stuff and gave us a lot of details of the history of each site.
The best thing about this tour is that it's not just your run of the mill "ghost tour" with some cheesy tricks to try and freak you out or other spooky tactics. They don't do anything weird like that, it's just simple facts about the actual events that took place (like a history lesson really) and then they tell you about the ghost sightings and activity that has been reported since it's happened.
I'm a big lover of History and past events, and the supernatural... so if you are the same, this is an excellent tour for you. Back story of why things happened and why there are ghosts that appear, when and where sightings happened.
Totally worth your time and money! Loved it!

Had an awesome time! Our tour guide, "Cemetery Larry", was knowledgeable about the city and gave the complete back story of every site we stopped at! Definitely will be going on another tour!

This tour was the best tour I have ever had! Our tour guide Dave have my boyfriend and I a private tour of some of the most haunted and infamous locations in Chicago. He was informative, a great story teller and his knowledge of historical fact combined with legend was outstanding! It was great. I can't wait to visit Chicago again and take another haunted ghost tour.

I have taken many ghost tours around the country and this one ranks amongst the best. There are few cities around the US with such a lively past, and the Tour brings it to life. I was so motivated by this tour, I started my own tour in my hometown!
Patricia C.Lincoln Park Dead & Undead Tour March 23, 2016
This tour was very disappointing. The tour guide Adam consistently made jokes that in the beginning were a little funny, but then he just went on and on and he got really annoying. The places that the tour took us could've been easily done on your own for a lot less money and they didn't even give us a brochure or any type of a handout. Then they asked for tips? Don't waste your time or money.
Christine W.Loop & Near North Dead & Undead Tour September 1, 2015
My mom and I had a wonderful time! Adam was very informative and entertaining, and had a lot of stories to tell. The excursions where we were able to stop and look around made the tour even more fun. I would definitely recommend this company!
Claudia H.Lincoln Park Dead & Undead Tour March 26, 2015
My friends and I went on Halloween night, and the atmosphere of the night certainly fit the tour we were about to embark on. We were on a comfortable coach style bus, which was great, because a school bus would've been too cold. I'm a big history geek, so some of the information about the city that Adam, our tour guide, gave out was more captivating to me than the actual ghost stories. However, the ghost stories were awesome! I'm not big on scary movies or horror stuff, but I enjoyed the tour, which was very interactive. Despite the cold and windy conditions, we got out on three stops and got to ask questions, walk around, and explore on our own. If the fact that some people stayed on the bus is any indication, the stories told were effective. Overall, and enjoyable experience, and worth the price.
