100 Proof Stand-Up Comedy Show August 15, 2017Took our teenage kids - laughed so hard when they did the Chicago Shakespeare improv skit! Anyone would laugh - my daughter loved the Gibberish mime charades skit too... Audience participation made it fun too! What a nice light hearted event.

100 Proof Stand-Up Comedy Show July 18, 2017Hilarious show you can bring anyone to. They've been in this space for 10 years, but they've been doing improv comedy in the city for 30. Very funny. Great to bring someone to who's never seen improv before.

100 Proof Stand-Up Comedy Show June 24, 2017Enjoyed this show a lot more than I thought I would! The small, intimate venue and drinks poured lower inhibitions. They do a great job of incorporating the audience into the show, either by suggesting ideas/themes or by bringing audience members onstage to be a part of the show. I was thoroughly impressed and entertained by this. Highly recommend it for birthdays or fun nights out on the town!

100 Proof Stand-Up Comedy Show April 24, 2017This place needs better advertising. No, strike that, I don't want everyone knowing about it. It's a great little show, super reasonable price, family friendly, wonderful fun way to spend a night. Short walk from the Red Line at Belmont, great places to eat nearby.

100 Proof Stand-Up Comedy Show March 28, 2017We were in the city for spring break and looking to entertain our kids (ages 12 & 15). The show was very entertaining and All ages were welcome. The improv was "clean" and very funny.

The Blue Show August 17, 2016We go here 1-2 times a year and it's a must-do whenever I have people in from out of town! I always laugh til I cry! We went last week and I was super hesitant this time since the audience was like all children BUT they always do a clean show and it still manages to be funnier than the 17+ show so even though it was a little cheesy and kid-oriented, still funny. I would highly recommend it to anyone! That being said they have offered to let the audience stay for the midnight show following this hilarious show and the midnight show was terrible and I did not laugh once. Toilet humor and slapstick stuff...I will stick to the teams shows which I love!

The Blue Show March 29, 2016My boyfriend and I went to a show a couple of weeks ago but had to leave early because I had a migraine. They were very accommodating. They let me pick a different day to come to a show with no extra cost. The show was very funny and entertaining. I would recommend it!

The Blue Show February 13, 2016My girlfriend and I decided to go to Chicago for the weekend. On a whim we tried this place out and I was great. Head a gray time

The Blue Show January 12, 2016I love watching stand-up and ventured through freezing conditions in order to get my comedy fix while in Chicago. This low-key stand-up session featured local comedians, none of whom I had heard before, for only $10 and no drink minimum. We didn't need to get there early. Doors weren't open until about 8 pm, and the crowd was very small. I enjoyed most of the sets and appreciated the diversity in topics. It seemed like 80% of the comics were 25 years old, so I was glad when not every joke was about dating. The host was just the right amount of awkward to be entertaining. I only wish there were more options for snacks. Don't forget to enter the raffle - you might win a free drink!

The Blue Show July 10, 2015Cool and casual place! It's a nice change of pace from doing the same old thing. I saw 3 improv groups perform. I would say the later show absolutely had some more adult content which was awesome, but be aware it isn't really family friendly after 10pm.
All the groups were great; there were obviously some stand outs who were very quick and funny. Love the crowd interaction too; a lot depends on how fun your audience is. You should check it out. -

100 Proof Stand-Up Comedy Show April 3, 2015Great family friendly comedy. The act is very funny with no dirty language or inappropriate tones which presents the prefect experience if you're visiting like we were. Its our 2nd time here and I'd definitely bring friends back.
I recommend for younger kids, families, or work gatherings. -

ComedySportz Improv Show March 29, 2015The show was entertaining, but I saw this show about a month ago and found the cast that night much funnier. I also found several of the people hard to understand this time (spoke too quickly or mumbled). It was still a good time though!

The Blue Show June 24, 2014It's like Second City, but a lot less expensive, crowded, and quite frankly better. We're talking serious side-splitting laughs. Great for date night or any kind of night out.
I've been told the late night shows get a little raunchy ... been meaning to check that out ... -

The House Party (Sketch Comedy Show) June 8, 2014These people work their tails off to make you laugh. It's refreshing to see such a gathering of talent on one stage. They put on a good, clean show. I have been 5 times now and have had a great experience every single time. I have been on a date, with a group of friends, and with my 5 year old niece and it has been an appropriate setting each time. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a show. You are guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face.

ComedySportz Improv Show June 8, 2013The family friendly ComedySportz show was fast paced and totally funny. The comedians solicited audience participation from everyone and the skits were very inventive and amusing. My whole family, including the two hard to please teenages, loved it!

The Hot Karl Improv Show April 14, 2013The improv here is ok. I think it depends on which actors are performing. I've been to some shows that were funny and others were a flop. Most recently (last night) I went to The Hot Karl and I may have laughed maybe twice during the 45 minute show. :/

ComedySportz Improv Show January 12, 2013We LOVED ComedySportz. We have been a few times and every time is different. Two teams compete against each other playing different games. The competition is a great way to get everyone involved. Everyone in my group was laughing hysterically - we loved that it was all improv (they take all suggestions from the audience). My husband volunteered to go on stage for one of the games and they gave him a free ticket to return. And we definitely will!
