One of the many incentives of learning Brazilian Capoeira is that you learn the fundamentals of a legendary Afro-Brazilian dance, while gaining the techniques needed to defend yourself. This style, which has become very popular over the last two decades, puts your body to the test and improves your strength and coordination. When it comes to techniques, you will be professionally taught ginga, esquiava, and meia-lua de compasso. Learn defensive moves that blend dance, acrobatics, and martial arts. After being trained, your footwork and coordination will improve, as you get accustomed to sweeps, kicks, and helpful moves to protect yourself from unsuspected threats of danger.
