Although anyone can be the victim of a violent crime, women often face the most brutal types of attacks, including robberies, criminal sexual assaults, and date rape. This women’s program will teach you how to safely and effectively fight off attackers of any size and in a variety of realistic situations using a series of combatives such as punches, kicks, and by using your knees and elbows. You will focus on defending against chokes, grabs, bearhugs, and fighting from the ground. Since women are often smaller and appear physically weaker than male attackers, and therefore, face a physical disadvantage, the women’s program will emphasize using quick, explosive movements and targeting the vital parts of an attacker's body, while learning how to use your own body weight to generate the most power possible and deliver effective defenses and counter attacks. Finally, this training will help to build up the self-confidence and create the mindset necessary to eliminate fear and self-doubt and, ultimately, survive by any means necessary.
