If you’ve ever been in a fight (hopefully not), or seen a fight online or on YouTube (Worldstar, anybody?), the one common denominator is that most have ended up on the ground. Fights aren’t like we perceive them to be in our minds: “One hit Knockouts” and “Down goes Frazier!” … They’re more like “Come at me, bro!” followed by a 12 minute series of groundfighting, chokeholds, failed attempts at maneuvering an old wrestling move, a stalemate, and hopefully a celebratory moment of relief that everyone is still alive, and not too badly hurt. Now, it can be said that this happens because most people think they can fight, but have never learned the basic fundamentals, so as a result, it’s all a façade. With Midwest Training Center, here’s your chance to explore the basic techniques and start knowing how to defend yourself. All it takes is that one step towards the unknown, and before you know it, you’ll be a guru offered a job by Dana White. The world is boundless, and so is Jiu-Jitsu. So, why not give it a shot?
