About this Activity
Do people often use the term "waifish" when describing you? Do they joke that you lift off of the ground slightly when a stiff wind blows? Those people are terrible, but they may have a point -- you may not feel like you can protect yourself if you got into a tight place. You do have options though. This aikido class will teach you the art of redirecting an aggressor's energy so that you can defend yourself, while minimizing the damage to another person. You'll be trained how to confidently use joint locks and throws to deal with sticky real life situations. Even better, you'll be taught to relax and develop a healthy body... traits that are always useful.
