I chose a segway tour because of the limited time I had to explore Chicago and my complete unfamiliarity with the town. This tour was great not just because the segways are super fun and easy to learn but it gave a newbie tourist like me a better idea of where to go and how the area is layed out. Our guide Justin was super nice, knowledgeable and patient. Lots of great photo opportunities. A great value for the money, my only warning is that this tour will make you want to buy a segway!

This is a MUST if you are in Chicago! We had the pleasure of having Freddy take our group of ten touring around Chicago! Freddy was a great tour guide, and very knowledgeable of the history of Chicago! The ten people in our group are all well traveled people and each of them raved how much fun this was and what a great way to enjoy the sights and sounds that Chicago has to offer!
Freddy you really made our trip, and we can not thank you enough!

Our 1st time in Chicago and our 1st thing on our list was the Segway tour. We had an amazing time. We weren't ready to get off by the time the tour was over. April , our tour guide was amazing. She knew the city very well and was very informative on everything about the city. The scenery was beautiful. we will definitely be back for another tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

The staff and tour were both wonderful! April and Steve both were great to deal with during the booking process. Our tour guide was named Karlie and she was totally amazing! Training was quick and to the point. After that our guide whisked us away on a fun and informative trip. I would totally go again.

My family of 4 took Steve's tour on July 4th. The tour is advertised as fun, and it certainly was! In and of itself, riding a Segway is a lot of fun but the tour made it even more so. We really were made to feel like we were guests rather than customers. Steve was very personable and seemed to take a genuine interest in us as people, from the initial call through the training. He and our guide Emily took the time to get us fully prepared to take to the streets, and the tour was fantastic. Emily was very personable, informational, accommodating, and entertaining. She didn't rush the tour and she ended up spending more than the scheduled 3 hours with us in order for us to see everything. Both Steve and Emily seemed passionate about making sure the experience was a good one for us. And best of all, when we asked about fireworks later that night, Steve went out of his way to call a friend with a restaurant on the lakefront to get us reservations for perfect seats for viewing the fireworks - at a restaurant that doesn't even take reservations! We were able to bypass a line over 1.5 hours long when we arrived for dinner. He didn't have to do this - our tour was finished when we inquired about this - but he went out of his way to make sure that we were happy customers. And we are!
I highly recommend Steve's Segway Tours as a fun way to tour the city.

Great experience. We did the electric Trikkes tour, seems more fun than the Segways, definitely a faster ride. April is a great guide. Kids under 12 cannot ride the Segway but can ride the Trikkes. Fun stuff.

Totally fun tour with Emily. Had no idea we could ride the Segways around the top of Soldier field. We will do it again!

My boyfriend and I recently went on this tour. Originally, we had booked for memorial day, however when we got up that day, the weather was gross out. We called Steve and he had no problem letting us cancel for the day due to the weather. I wasn't sure when we wanted to go again, and Steve said that it was no problem to let him know when we decided what day would be best for us. We had no problem calling the morning of Thursday, and going on a night tour on Thursday. My boyfriend and I were the only two on the tour so it was really nice and personal. When we started the tour (6 PM), it was still daylight. When we ended (930 PM), it was dark, so it was cool to be able to see the city during the day and at night. We payed for a 3 hour tour, but it was nice that Steve was not concerned about running over the 3 hours, and cared more to show up important aspects of the city! A plus!
It was our first time on a Segway, and it was really fun and easy to pick up. In the beginning I was doubtful that I would pick it up, but after a few minutes I felt right at home on the Segway. The segways have a little pouch in the front, so if you want to bring water and a sweater that might be a good idea. Would love to experience this during the winter when Chicago is covered in snow! We will definitely return for a repeat tour in the winter : )

Even though I have lived in the Chicago area my entire life I have never seen so much of the city in such a fun way. Steve's Segway was so much fun. The employees were awesome, really took time to make sure you felt comfortable and very interesting and personable. We took the River North tour and found it very interesting. I would recommend this tour to everyone that already thinks they know the city. Covered 9-10 miles in our 3 hours so not something you would ever do on foot. Tourists/out-of towners would enjoy the Lakefront Tour more. It seems like a lot of $$ but it's really a fair deal for what you get and the experience. Way better way to spend your money than watching bad baseball!!

Freddy was our tour guide and he was just like a walking encyclopedia! April trained us before the tour and made sure everyone felt safe on the Segway before we went on an amazing 9-mile tour. Riding a Segway around the top of Soldier Field was quite a thrill. It was a great experience and I will definitely do it again when I am back in Chicago. In fact I loved it soooo much my husband surprised me with my own Segway 5 days later! Thanks again Freddy and April! You are the best.

First time on a segway for all of us and couldn't have had a better guide, Autumn. She made it fun and educational at the same time. About 3 hours long, but went by fast. We had a mixture of adults and kids and she knew exactly how to keep it entertaining for all. Loved route we went on through the park, by museums and Soldier Field. We will be back again in the summer. All you need is a little coordination, a camera and some sunglasses. Went through some crowded areas but also had a lot of wide open areas where you could become one with your machine.

Definitely recommend riding a segway at least once in your life. Such a fun and innovative way to get around. We did the Haunted Halloween tour which was at night. And I think the night tour is a great way to do it, when there aren't as many pedestrians on the sidewalks. We were able to get up to max speed and see the city under the glow of a full moon. Our guide, Alex, was in a ghoulish costume and added to the tour even better with some interesting stories about some of the great Chicago disasters.

My friends and I - nine of us, all Chicago residents - took a night tour last week and have a phenomenal time. Our tour guide, Autumn, was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor, making the tour an absolute blast, even in the cold!
Yes, it may be a little bit hard to find the place, but aside from that (and they do have directions on the website) I don't have a single complaint.
Safety demonstration was quick and logical, practicing was easy and fun, and the tour itself was fantastic. The views of the Chicago skyline were beautiful, and everybody had so much fun. We were definitely tired by the end of the tour, but everyone was a little sad to step off their Segways for the last time.
I highly recommend it to anyone - tourist or otherwise!
