Learn the secrets to creating healthy and appetizing entrees from a professional chef in this all-levels class focused on fit fare. You’ll work in small groups to create delectable dishes like miso-ginger poached halibut with leeks, spinach and soba noodles, grilled chicken kebabs with carrot slaw and mint yogurt sauce, and minestrone with chickpeas and kale. As you cook, you’ll practice proper techniques such as how to select and poach fish, prepare soup, and cook grains. You’ll also make yogurt sauces and discover the best ways to check your meat’s doneness. When you’ve finished, you’ll take a seat at the table with your classmates for a healthy feast that you’ll be proud to have prepared.

Note: All necessary equipment is provided. Teens 12 and up are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult to participate.
