Let’s face it: everything tastes better slathered in sauce. Whether savory or sweet, these delicious creations can elevate a meal from drab to delectable. Learn the art of preparing sauces in this all-levels course that’s sure to have you licking the spoon. A professional chef will take you through the process step-by-step as you practice techniques such as preparing reductions and emulsions, balancing flavors, sauteing pork, and using roux. You’ll work in small groups to create dishes like dried fruit and port reduction with sautéed pork medallions, cheddary béchamel with baked penne, and romesco sauce with oven-roasted potatoes. When you’ve finished, you’ll take a seat with your classmates to feast on the fruits of your labor.

Note: All necessary equipment is provided. Teens 12 and up are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult to participate.
