Explore the world of vegan cooking in the all-levels class that will take you from light and airy to decadently rich. A professional chef will lead the way as you work in small groups to create such compelling dishes as beet hummus with toasted hazelnuts and cucumber chips, black-eyed pea and mushroom burgers with avocado sauce, and chocolate cheesecake. As you cook, you’ll discover the secrets to crucial skills like working with tofu, making cake batter, selecting avocados, and balancing flavors. You’ll also get familiar with using vegan substitutes in your dishes. When your meal is prepared, you’ll take a seat with your classmates and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Note: All necessary equipment is provided. Teens 12 and up are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult to participate. No experience necessary.
