During winter in Chicago, some of the best things to do are found … inside! A second city can be found hidden under the roads in the pedway or behind the tracks of the El. If you enjoy the stories on our Lincoln Park Blues Tour, you’ll love a visit to Tommy Gun’s Garage.

A night on the town at Tommy Gun’s Garage doesn’t just transport you indoors, it brings you back to the roaring 20s. A time of flapper girls, zoot suits and speakeasies. With prohibition in place those seeking libations had to do it in secret. Hidden bars and clubs were accessible only by password, with secret entrances and exits should the police get too near. When you knew about one, you spoke easy about it.

When you buy a ticket to the dinner show at Tommy Gun’s Garage, you’ll get the password to sneak into this secret event. As to be expected, amongst the dancing girls and honest patrons you’ll find gangsters and their hired guns.

An evening complete with a full course dinner (vegetarian options available), comedy, singing, dancing and even a police raid! Audience participation is encouraged and sometimes required.

Note: Price includes the dinner and show, alcohol is an additional fee.
