Lauren T.Red Light District Tour February 13, 2017
The best part was visiting the Dungeon. We wish there were more dungeons or Chicago related sex stops instead of the retail stores. Our guide that evening Friday February 10th was phenomenal.

You really, really have to get there on time--they take off just when they say the tour starts. So get there early and have a coffee at McDonald's. You will love the tour.
Eric was our tour guide and he is amazing and so energetic. We had a lot of fun and he had some great information on serial killers I had never heard before. And I'm from Chicago!

This is an awesome way to spend a weekend, whether you are in Chicago as a tourist or a native. The hosts are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and highly entertaining. You should visit their website for times and options. They do tours on a variety of topics including Chicago gangsters, Red Light District, Hauntings/Ghosts, 1893 World's Expo, and more. This is a great option whether you're looking for something different to do on a date or treating a large group to something special.

We signed up for the Devil in the White City tour without really knowing to expect. The confirmation email we received was incredibly helpful. When we arrived for the tour two things were very clear, our guide, Sunny, was both incredibly knowledgable and passionate about the subject and that we were in for a treat. The tour was great. She did a great job informing us all about HH Holmes and the 1893 Columbian Exposition. Our driver Brenda was also great, and even shared her own stories. We will certainly be back to try out the other tours!

I liked the history within the tour: Dillinger, Congress Hotel, HH Holmes, Eastland Disaster, St. Valentine's Day, Iroquois Theatre, etc. We took the 10 pm tour, so it got pretty late, but the tour was still a lot of fun. Our tour guide, Jen, was great as well. Go on this tour if you are interested in Chicago history mixed with a little bit of the paranormal.

Had a great time on this tour. Can't wait to go back and try the Gangster Tour. We stopped at the Congress Hotel for a beverage and bathroom stop as well as another ghost story. Had a wonderful time. Learned a few things about the gangsters, serial killers and ghost stories of the city. The tour was about 3 hours in a very comfortable bus. There was just enough people in a smaller bus. It was very comfortable. The guide was great and very animated. Will use this company again.

Really good tour. Was 3hrs including a stop at congress hotel for a drink. Very enthusiastic guide who brought the gangster history to life. Most of landmarks have been demolished but they still had a heap of really good stories. Also photos etc of the gangsters. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to see a bit of a different part of Chicago history

The Devil in the White City tour is Excellent! Superb! Informative! Fascinating! Totally worth the time and money. We took it on our last night in Chicago, which gave us a good overview of some spots we had missed on the trip. Expect to be in the Loop, Englewood, UIC area, etc etc. History buffs, architecture aficionados, horror hounds, crime story fans, weirdos, geeks, and people just looking for something more will love this. Our tour guide Eric was knowledgeable, funny, and friendly. Awesome tour!

This was a great tour that helped my fiancé and myself see a good part of Chicago with a vary knowledgable tour guide. I usually don't like these types of attractions but when I read it had mob history I thought it could be fun. While it is tough for the guide to point out buildings from history, as many of them no longer exist or have been replaced, the tour guide (Eric) did a fantastic job of helping people visualize what life was like back in time through his words and showmanship. It was a little slow at times and the 3 hours didn't necessarily fly by but it was great to hear about the history of Chicago while also touring areas we probably wouldn't have seen if we didn't do the tour. Overall it was a great experience, Eric was fantastic, and while I may not do this every time I am in Chicago it is something I would consider doing again (I would probably do the paranormal tour or the private pub crawl).
Sally K.Roaring '20s Tour April 19, 2013
The tour was informative and enjoyable, but the delivery was distracting. I wish it had been less hype and just letting the fascinating facts speak for themselves. While the tour guide was knowledgeable, he was too big, too loud, too much. Beware the scammer street dude who claims he is in charge of entertaining the customers until the bus leaves.
Alexandra S.Devil & the White City Tour November 27, 2012
My husband, our teen daughter and I took this tour last week and we all loved it. We had all read the book and our guide, Greg (a Second City alum), used all of his considerable talents to keep us all engaged, amused and enthralled throughout the 3 hour evening tour. Even if you have not read the book, your guide will fill you in on all the facts regarding serial killer H.H. Holmes and the1893 Colombian Exposition. It was fascinating to walk around what is left of the World's Fair grounds and buildings. Our tour took us from Jackson Park to the Stockyards (where we did smell bacon) to the site of Holmes' "Murder Castle." It was fascinating and very well done. Even though you are on a bus, you are outside for a half-hour walk, so if you are taking this tour in winter (as we did), be sure to bundle up. We all found this tour worthwhile. Our guide, Greg, was excellent -- very knowledgeable but never boring. And we learned other historical items about Chicago such as why the city flag has four stars on it. This tour did not disappoint -- three thumbs up!
