You can't have The Roaring Twenties without Art Deco and a trip (or two) to a speakeasy. Take this evening promenade to get your fix of both.
WendyCity wants to lead you on a Nightlife tour that looks at 1920’s Chicago. Immerse yourself in The Roaring Twenties and all they entail -- Jazz clubs, illegal speakeasies, the mafia. You'll get your fill of food, drink, and decor as you journey through the past, ending up in a swanky 1920's hotel lobby for cocktails in The Old Chicago Auto Club building.
You'll cover such historic topics as the 1933 World’s Fair (and the scandalous Sally Rand), the rise of the Flapper (and Josephine Baker), the birth of film, Al Capone, and the automobile. You’ll walk away with an appreciation for Art Deco, the 20's, AND the whole city of Chicago!
How's that for having your cake and eating it too?
Note: Please let us know of any mobility concerns.
