Discover the rich cultural and geological history of the Illinois River Valley, one of the state’s picturesque marvels. On this wine tour, visit one of the few wineries that makes sparkling wine in the traditional French method of bottle fermentation, using cold-climate grapes grown right here in Illinois! The tour begins with a toast to celebrate a day in wine country, before heading out to visit the farmlands and wineries. At each stop, you’ll tour the production sites and enjoy a wine tasting with noshes. Feel free to make purchases and stay for dinner as you discuss your newfound wine expertise. All of this can be found in the heart of the Midwest.
Note: Lunch and all wine tastings are included in your ticket price. Wine is not included with your lunch, if you would like a glass of wine at that time, you will have to purchase it on your own. Exact meeting location will be provided upon booking.
