    The mission of Arabesque is to to give Chicago a choice; to open its doors to uncommon dance forms, and give adults an exquisite place to learn that's a refuge for them alone. Take this class to utilize the art of Oriental Dance to enrich the lives of its studentship and community through local and national dance performances as well as through weekly dance instruction. The goal is to help you find the genuine dancer within you -- with your own natural body movements, as the class embraces all shapes and sizes, any fitness level, age, or race without regard to any preconceived notions.     Merengue

    Singles, couples, and anyone with two left feet are welcome at this Beginner Merengue Dance Class. In a fun and casual setting, you will enjoy a 50-minute group salsa dance class that will have you dancing in no time. You don't need a partner, as you will rotate partners in class. The class size is small, so you get more personal attention from the teacher and more space to dance! During the class, you will learn, basic Merengue steps, a simple turn, and basic leading and following skills. What's more? You are welcome to bring your favorite wine/beer to help you loosen up.
