On this open-vehicle 4x4 excursion, you'll wind up and through La Plata Mountain for 14 incredible miles as you make your way to the majestic views from Kennebec Pass at over 12,000 feet high.
Along the way, your guide will explain the canyon's mining history -- including stories of the vanished La Plata City town site from 1875 and characters like Olga Little, one of the world's only female mule skinners!
You'll also learn about the native Ute people as well as the area's geology, flora, and fauna as you take in stunning views of the area.
