    Scottsdale Trolley Food Tour

This food-focused tour is so delicious, it ought to be outlawed. Which is why it’s so fitting that it takes place in Scottsdale’s Old Town district, known for its Wild West charm. But wagon wheels and cowboy hats aside, this a tour that hitches its wagon first and foremost to delicious food. You’ll be traveling by foot and trolley to five local restaurants, starting with the Barrio Queen, once dubbed “Best New Restaurant in America” by Esquire Magazine. You’ll chow down on some of their delicious Mexican delights, including 2 street tacos and homemade chips and salsa, and wash it all down with a margarita made from a selection of over 400 tequilas. You’ll then hop on the trolley to tour the 4 districts of Old Town, before landing at your next stop, the Cider Mill. There, you’ll get a kick sampling their apple cider beer and trying their hand-crafted root beer. And you’ll beef up the experience with some New York-style Reuben and homemade potato salad. You’ll have a half mile to digest the deliciousness as you stroll through the Art District, before hitting popular restaurant Cornish Pasty for, yup, some Cornish Pasty! Paired with a craft beer, this is a nomnom experience for the ages. Next up, your foodie splurge continues with a trip to Cafe Zuzu in the iconic Hotel Valley Ho, where you’ll try some of Executive Chef Charles Wiley’s roasted spaghetti squash with sauteed greens, tomatoes, pine nuts, and parmesan crust. Oh, and a spiked strawberry lemonade, just ‘cause. While your adventure is soon to come to an end, you can bet it will be on a high note, thanks to a sugar buzz courtesy of Chocolade van Brugge. You’ll try some chocolates imported directly from Belgium, sample a Liege waffle, and get some waffle knowledge from the restaurant owner, Frederiek. Great. Now we’re hungry.

    Downtown Phoenix Evening Dining Tour

Being a foodie in Phoenix has its perks. Mainly, the food. During this introduction to the downtown, you’ll hoof it while trying out five of the trendiest restaurants around. Along the way, your local guide will offer restaurant info, historical facts, and maybe a ghost story! You’ll start your night of yummy delights at Urban Olive Oils & Balsamics, where you’ll enjoy olive oil paired with wine and an unexpected surprise. Then it’s off to Hanny’s, which not only features delicious flat bread pizzas, but creepy dolls hanging out in the basement. Thankfully, there’s a full bar (not included) to ward off the heebeegeebees. Time to get your Greek on after that, stopping at My Big Fat Greek Downtown, where you’ll kickback on a patio and munch thoughtfully on a bevy of Greek food while watching a dazzling fireshow. You’ll continue to 1130 The Restaurant for succulent lobster lettuce cups and mussels in a garlic sauce. Dessert comes from District American Kitchen and Wine Bar, where a sweet treat and complimentary drink will cap off the tour to perfection. We know. That’s a lot of food for thought.
