No matter what else you're wearing, nothing says successful man or woman about town like a sharply pointed sabre.
The sabre was once a basic sidearm of the military, widely worn across Europe and the U.S. In the 18th Century,Henry Angelo, a fencing and broadsword master to the Light Horse Volunteers of London and Westminster, published manuals for training the British Military.
In this class, you'll discover Henry's methods, as well as many others, as you learn the art of military sabre fighting. In addition to the Angelo tradition, you'll also study the technique outlined by fencing historian Alfred Hutton, and draw methods from the US Naval Academy publication "Principles of Squad Instruction for the Broadsword".
As your professional instructor takes you through each method, you'll develop a rich wealth of knowledge that will come together with hands-on practice for a class experience that's sure to please.
