En Garde’s “try-it-out” class is designed as a thirty-minute sampler to help newcomers find out what fencing is all about. You’ll suit up and learn the basic nomenclature and rules of the sport, plus learn a few fundamental moves! Your thirty minute trial takes place prior to a regular adult class, meaning if you decide to add the rapier to your repertoire, you can keep going for another hour! Bet you’ll look pretty sharp in all that fencing gear, too.

    Jiu-Jitsu

    If you have been wanting to get into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but aren’t sure where or how to start, this is the class for you. You will start from the very beginning with a trained instructor to begin learning the fundamentals of this intense martial arts form. In this class, you will gain effective self-defense techniques, takedowns, and positional strategy. Your beginner session will start with a warm up of jiu-jitsu relevant drills, then to techniques and drilling where you will go over 1-4 techniques taught and drilled with the beginner practitioner in mind.
