6 Exciting Things To Do In NYC's Garment District

New York City’s Garment District, located just south of Midtown West and just north of Chelsea, is known to many as the Fashion Center. Since the beginning of the 20th century, this neighborhood has been the hub of both fashion design and manufacturing in New York and even the US. Though its boundaries are loosely defined, it roughly makes up the area between 5th avenue and 9th avenue and spans from 34th street up north to 42nd street. If you’re interested in fashion - design, labels, production, and more - or even if you’re not, this is a great place to spend the day in Manhattan.
