    Adaptive Movement (Studio Fitness)

    Is there a physical challenge that affects your ability to move effectively? That's what Adaptive Movement is here for. If you've got limb loss/limb difference or even spinal cord injuries, this progression-based class will improve your movement efficacy. Your coach will be specially trained in slow and low, earn-your-movement mindfulness. You'll train in a diverse set of movement skills from something as "basic" as crawling around on your back to hanging from and balancing on beams and bars! If you're at that point, you'll even climb over walls or hit the heavy bag -- there's something for everyone. Be able to learn at your own pace and discover new ways to move your body and overcome the challenges in your life.

In this class, you'll enjoy following along to the simple instructions of a friendly fitness expert while being surrounded by gloriously soothing candlelight. As you breathe out your stresses, you'll make your way through a series of invigorating and strengthening stretches that will ease your tired muscles and better your body overall. Plus, you'll enjoy being in a studio environment among fellow focused students that will help you find your own zen. Just maybe try not to stretch too close to the candles -- stopping, dropping, and rolling isn't exactly part of the curriculum!
